stage 5 issues

Ok guys so I recently did a stage 5 build and have not got my car running good since I
ts a stage 5 jzw tune and I really don't think anythings wrong with the tune john and I have been going back and forth for a while now and he is really good about answering my questions. But I really was just wondering everyones take on things.. ok here's the issues john says boost request is for 26psi and I'm only holding 10psi in second and 18psi in 3rd 20in 4th I know very weird bpc has been switched out 4 times with other working ones same results at 3rd and 4th gear wot when it hits 18 or 20 psi I hear a flutter sound I'm not sure what it is I have checked everywhere for boostleaks no luck finding any tightened up my couplings and hoses I just don't even know what to replace or fix to get this problem sorted out I'm in the process of putting in my wideband 02 so I can monitor my air fuel

Please guys help me out thanks josh

Mine flutters too at Wot, changed bpcs while dynoing and that added some power but I still got the fluttering, my base boost is set to 9 psi.

Do you have injectors or fpr also to go with the tune?

Do you get the fluttering sound on mid boost too, like when shifting from 2nd to 3rd with an easy acceleration?

Or is the flutter limited to WOT pulls?

...and I agree with checking the WG. That should help recapture more boost, but not sure that's related to the sound...

Is anyone else thinking compressor surge?

Have you lubed the Forge recently?

My friend's WRX is making a similar sound and his boost doesn't hold rock solid so he's trying out a different WGA. Compressor surge is what I thought when I first read it, though.

Maybe a stronger actuator or helper spring might be the ticket....

Mine didn't do this at lower boost levels only at higher ones that were achieved after I put a helper spring on.

If the WG is opening too early, or erratically it would cause that fluctuating boost...but the noise is funky. If the boost is exceeding the BOV, then that would contribute to comp surge.....

Another bit of funkiness is the Forge, which can sometimes make that fuuh-fuuh-fuuh sound at low boost levels...which could mean the BOV spring is too light.

ok so I do have a helper spring that's how I achieved the 10psi base boost, I cleaned my bov right when this started I originally thought it could be wastegate flutter I don't know how I could rule that out without buying a new wastegate
