Really low Dyno numbers

Well I dyno'd my Viggen today expecting a bit better results. Stage 3 Viggen with the following mods:

3 DP
2.5 saabsport
T5 cams
MP intercooler
MP BPV
intake
Cobra pipe
ECUproject tune

Numbers are very low, what would you expect to see numbers wise? guy was telling me how lean the car is running, could it be the mailbox tune?

Also we tightened things up checking for any leaks and noticed this near the cobra pipe. Its like a hose existed there and its now gone, not sure what it is or where it went to seeing it wasnt my car before and im no mechanic

Thats definately pretty low. For comparison, stock Viggens have dyno'ed between 210-235whp so I would certainly expect more from your setup. What is it boosting?

Things to do:

- Block off top silicone hose of BPC
- Check base boost
- Clean MAF
- Change plugs
- Reset ECU

Numbers should be about ~260whp /~300wtq

The missing hose, more info: http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=106554

This is not the issue.

The tune wouldn't be the issue neither. Zach is running his Viggen with a same one and he's fine from what I remember.

Something must have happened recently. It was pulling two lengths on a 02 S4 month before you got it, with the same exact set up.

I have no idea what could that be. I would guess the wastegate set up, since it's the last thing I adjusted.

Is that not a hose missing off the BPC? Would that not be a large problem?

Its just for the intake return. It can be blocked off to bypass the EVAP system and restore power

It only restores power if there is a problem with the check valves. Blocking mine off does absolutely nothing for me.

And as Rafal said, my car pulls very hard with similar mods.

In my car blocking off that hose made a huge difference. As far as I remember locating that valve is kind of a PITA so I wouldn't bother with that.

Zach, what happened to your wastegate? I thought you replaced it or something? Forge?

Nope i run 93 strictly through it. It pulls hard but the boost will SOMETIMES go to 16 pounds then taper off to like 12, then sometimes it will only boost to like 11 then come down to 8 or so. Theres no real consistency in it. My last Vigen with just an intake would full on break tires loose in 2nd, while this one doesn't really as much.

What would you guys check and replace first. In order you think it should be done?

How about an O2 sensor? My car doesn't really break loose in 2nd all that often either though... Hmm, Now I want to know what my AFR is. It breaks loose once in a while, but not very often.

I am just curious now.

Zach, what do you boost up to? Is it consistent? Mine doesn't seem very consistent, well i know it isn't since the boost gauge doesn't lie.

Something is causing it to be lean, what could it be? Sucks its pouring out today, i wanted to run around and replace a few things before the JETS game, doesn't look like thats happening.

x2,, 12.86 is not in teh danger zone,,

especially at 190hp...

could it have simply been a bad dyno run? does the car feel low on power?
could a cam be one tooth off?

what is the vacuum at idle?
