Like to try t5 suite and advice

I have been reading a lot of posts about the T5 suite and open ecu project. The e85 thing sounds great. Is there a t5 suite for dummies?

Some people have written up quick guides to help you along with the flashing progress. Stage 1-3 can be made "automatically", or tweaked to better suite the car and its driving conditions.

Now I dont want to discourage you from trying out T5Suite, but if there is a real want for a dummies instructions on how to do it, you probably shouldn't be playing around with this kinda stuff.

So you could take the time to read a bit, learn some new stuff, and hop on the bandwagon.

Or pay some people a small amount to tune a box for you.

I use it, its great, its fun and once you get the hang of it you will see its not hard at all.
The hardest part realy is getting together the stuff you need for the tune (canusb or bdm and a power supply)
On their website go to the first timers and newbies section, it will help you get started
Download t5 suite and just check out what options are there (you can tune a bin for practice if you want!)
Then read through the t5 documentation, its great, Not all of it will be meaningful to you unless your looking to do a total overhaul of your car, but read through the basic parts!
Its not hard at all, def look into it, and if you need any help feel free to ask questions, I (or various other people) will be more than willing to help out!

Thanks for the advice. I guess a "quick guide" would be a better way to describe what I was looking for. I understand the concept, so hopefully I'll be relatively successful. Well I'm off to download T5 suite.

You'd need a CANUSB.

Yes, there's a guide, and if I wasn't hammered drunk, I'd get you the link to the guide. Tomorrow I will.

Thanks for the link. I have been reading through the documentation. Time to start acquiring the necessary hardware bits.

I've recently downloaded t5 suite pro and I have an account with ecuproject.com. I've done plenty of reading via threads and I've looked at tons of different .bin's and I feel confident enough to start tuning. there's one issue though... im looking for a canusb or bdm and was wondering if their both something id have to get online or can I get one from radioshack or other? which do most of you prefer canusb or bdm?
