Headlight interchange. 900 to 9-3

A simple question, guys and gals.

Are the headlights on the NG900 the same as the 9-3?

Thanks!

Mike

They swap around with no issues. I have 9-3 headlamps in my 900.

Yup, they work. The headlight assemblies I sent to eliteauto were from a 9-3 and they fit in my ng900 exactly how my stock ones sat.

There is a slight difference in the thickness of the rubber trim on the bottom of the light. You would have to be looking for it to notice and is does not effect performance. So like everyone says, you can use either.

Oh yeah that's right. I was happy about that little difference, the rubber on my NG900 headlights are shit.

if you do this your car will vomit toad remains out of the exhaust and then commence slowly dissembling itself by performing many many slow speed impacts into a large truck from all different angles.

but seriously, it should work.

I agree with viggenkid on the first point. That is quite likely how it will play out.

there is no legal fire associated with ng900 headlamps fitting in a viggen.

there is legal fire issues with wedging your potato in said farm girls exhaust pipe though. so i guess it could be a accessory.
