Only the movement of the shifter lever is up-down, instead of the H-pattern. The gearbox internals, even the shifting bows are the stock ones. The translation from linear to H-pattern movement is done by the machanical maps on the lower side of the shiftet assembly.

Have you tried the shifter out yet?

Does it work?

Not on my car...but I drove a manual car with a similar shifter (VW racing car) and it rocks
Sort of IKEYA formula shifters (google it), but more tight!
Then again, it's not for everybody :P
The mechanical maps for the 6 speeds F40 Saab gearbox are just now being developed. It won't be long to the first try-out.
Will keep you posted, anyway!

Hi Lucian and everybody else! Just a short debut. My name is Zoltan and I have a Maptun stage 6+ biopower 9-3 and I am from Hungary. (not far from you Lucian ) I also would like to develop the weakest point of our car,the chassis and brakes to. Of course I am using powerflex bushes and lower springs with Koni adjustable shocks and I have 8pot D2 racing brake with 330mm disk..ect, but all these things not enough to get the car in best shape. After many years searching, now I found this thread about the Sellholm control arm, which sounds great! I am asking you Lucian and everybody else who uses this control arm,is it so good how looks and sounds? I already spent lots of money on the car,but this part is very sensitive for the car and I do not want to spend more money,if this product is simply not amazing! Waiting for your experiences and recommendations. Thanks!
