you should be able to get 400 crank out of an 18t (although that would probably be pushing it out of it's efficiency range)

That would be REALLY pushing it man. I kind of doubt it too...highest I have seen is around 320whp on a 2.3, that's closer to 360-375bhp.

is a 260whp tune on a t25 "safe" for a daily driver is that pushing the turbo a bit too much?

And would this be able to get me close to even with an e46(friend has one).

260wheel is definitely pushing a t25 to it's limits

Those were at the wheels. I knew that was confusing but for some reason I was too lazy to type 'whp'.

Btw, nice beerfest DVD in the first picture...

dang, I want to push the t25, but in a nice and safe range. 240-250whp on a t25 okay?

Thanks for being one of the logical few.

I have dyno chart off a dynojet of the following...
2.3 18t - 290ish whp
2.0 gt28 (18t flows about 20cfm less) - 270ish whp

2.3 stage 4 - 255whp

I may have a 2.0 stage 4 also

When I get Internet back in my house I'll dig them out

Don't run a t25 hard...it just peaks then drops like a rock. Been there done that.

The 18t was nice and just pulled for days. I had other car issues holdi g it back at the time too.

"one of the logical few"

you're the guy telling us that an 18t is good for only 260 wheel.

Man, my T25 on the 'heartbreaker' dyno in town put down 240whp. I'd be pretty mad if I could only get another ~10whp more for the work of a TD04 swap!

Castor, could you provide a dyno sheet defending your argument?

Dyno sheet of a local club guy says he made over 300 Whp with a 2.3 w/T25.

Just throwing this in there...

that just sounds insane haha.

Does anyone have 230-250whp 2.0 dynos? I want to see how bad they drop after 5000ish rpm lol.

My stage 3+ from JZW made 250whp and 280 trq with the tdo4-15t on a 2.0L. There is still a little more room for power. This was on a mustang dyno. My dyno slip is on here or SC. jzw posted it.

It falls pretty bad. Don't have torque numbers for lack of good RPM pickup but it's really noticeable on your butt cheeks.

Keep in mind that this is called the heartbreaker. Another example was given recently; 400/377 at one, 423/398 at another. I have my own evidence of this 'loss' if someone really wants to sing this song again.

The number doesn't matter guys! It's just the increase and the dyno is a tool!!
