where to have a lsd installed?

im in cincinnati ohio and considering a lsd. I spoke to nick and he said a shop that has not done a saab diff before will make a mess of it so now im trying to figure out where the hell i can go. oh and by the way the 2 saab dealer/shops i called wont do it. waiting on third one to call back.

i wanted to use the trans i have in my car now. out of curiousity how much would you charge if i shipped you the tranny and you refreshed the inside and threw in the lsd. and how much would shipping be on something that size?

Whats the year? milage? Noises? Whats it shift like?

Labors $800. No warranty

The rest of the cost is pinion bearings, Retainers Main Bearing, Crushsleve Seals.....

Than any Gear parts if needed "Usually" reverse is smashed and or synchro if necessary

its a 99, 140k, no noises. shifts fine. im wanting to put the lsd in before it grenades with the gt3071 i have on the car.

Well if its a 99 you Might need a FEW update parts if you want it to be the best it can be but that ads cost. I would recomend the 3/4th gear sychro holder it wears out because the 99's weren't hard enough. It depends on what you want but if your going to do it Put the updated "Harder" parts in it.
