Question Exhaust?

This isn't really a performance question, its more about sound. I'm looking at buying a new muffler for my ng900, and I really want to know what sounds loud (but not fart can loud), and has the best tone (while staying pretty cheap). Also what inlet size I should be looking to buy (currently stock muffler / pipes), since I really just want to buy the muffler, instead of redoing all the piping.

Thanks.

Just cut the resonator out and use no muffler, on an NG with stock downpipe it sounds exactly the same as a Saabsport catback mated to a 3"dp

The Saabsport is pretty loud, especially with a big downpipe.

I think a Remus set up is arguably the best sounding systems out there, though it will cost you. A Remus muffle is also so efficient at reducing back pressure and at 2 3/8" piping, it will hold its own against any 3" system out there:
