T5Suite Rocks!

So, big props are due to the T5Suite/ECUProject team. I built my own BDM a few months ago , but had no spare ECU to try it out on. NickTurbo900 came through with some T5 ECU's.

Everything worked great after a little trial and error!

Now my car, which has had Stg3 hardware for about 2 years now, finally has Stg3 software.

My poor T25.

That is all.

LOL

Smoky burnouts in 3rd gear all the way up the hill to the ridge FTW!

As an aside. Red_DIC and myself are playing with some T7 ECU's soon too. ANyone who is in the VT/Upper NY area who wants staged tunes for their cars, let me know.

I'm trying to convince my wife that I need CANUSB, so I can do some road tuning.

What do you have for the Stg3 hardware? It says on the Trionic5.pdf that all that is needed is 3" turbo back and open air intake for 270bhp. Is this plausible?

I have a Viggen intercooler, 3" DP and cat, SaabSport cat-back (2.5"), and the GenuineSaab Open Air intake.

The intercooler isn't fully necessary, but I got a killer deal on it. I would do a full exhaust (3" DP and some sort of HiPo catback setup) and a modded airbox at the very least.

It's supposed to rain. And the AutoX is on Sunday, so I can't break the car before that...

Definitely...I'd like a good AFR read on this setup.

ECU's can be had for cheap...I kept losing on eBay at the last minute...I bid on 3 or 4 different ECU's in the past two months. I'd recommend local junkyards.

What adapters do you need? A BDM?

T5suite doesnt just rock, it rules.
Its function continues to grow from dsimple staged tunes to live tuning to data logging. Soon it will record AFR and adjust it. Its grown to well beyond anyones wildest dreams

Yeah, the live tuning aspect is really amazing. I can't think of any other *factory* engine management system that has been opened up to this level in an open-source way.

No prob. My stuff isn't going anywhere.

Hit 20psi in 5th gear on 89 tonight passing a car. Blew one of my MAP sensor hoses right off (at the boost gauge junction).
Car threw a CEL.
Guess I'm going to need to clamp all those pretty red lines down tomorrow.
