I thought I posted this yesterday. I've been chasing a heatsoak/inconsistent boost issue and I thought I'd take the stock intercooler out just for an inspection and a cleaning. Removing the front bumper was easier than I thought. I had some help from the bulletin on GS. Results, It seemed to pull stronger, longer for a while, then all I had was boost in the yellow. I took it out again this morning and it was back 1/4 red. I have been screwing with the BPC. hmmm. . .
Wish I had a better IC to throw in there. I'm looking at the ETS. I figured this would do something noticeable. I could have the whole nose off in half an hour if I wanted to do it again. PS- just found an old 9k intercooler I can sell to fund the 9-3's. he he .
Aero, the bumper was gently lowered, but it was already tatooed by the mean streets of Boston.
is there a trick to the plug for the main headlights? i was trying to get my bumper off the other day but couldn't get those damn things to slide open. help the noob, please! (I'm SaabLV93 on the 'other' site)
[QUOTEIt's a Viggen bumper for god sakes....they're always on the pavement....screw the towel!!!][/QUOTE]
he he. Its actually quite nice to be apart of a community that cares for your car more than you do. At the Jeep forums, 5.9 Limited (look it up) owners were despised by regular Jeep owners. Sure it was a limited production (read-Aero/Viggen) luxo-ute, but I wanted to go fast just the same. Thanks again guys and gals for all the support.
PS- still chasing the base-boost heat-soak issue. BPC literally just fell apart, think I'm getting close. I will be getting the ETS soon, if anything just so the T7 pistons die another day.
