Rings from eeuroparts...

Anybody knwo if the piston rings form eeuroparts have a chromed topp ring? They say they are OE on the website. Want to make sure they are gonna be the right stuff. I've been told to stay away from normal ductile iron rings like Deeves.

I would only use Genuine saab rings. The rings eeuroparts sells are Deeves and are not fit for a lawnmower.

Yeah you're right I got them today. They said on their site they were "OE" but I guess not because they're the Deeves rings. Gonna have to send them back and get them from the stealer.

to get the correct rings you have to go to the saab dealer. Bring about $250, but it's worth it.

Yup, cost me almost $300 but have to have good compression right?
JZW used the total seal rings with JE pistons on his engine and said they work great. They show saab application on their website too so it should be o.k. to use these rings with stock pistons. He said they were like $175 for a complete set so this is another option but I'm gonna stick with stock.
