OBDII interface and Vehicle Wiring Diagrams

Okay, we've got a few more questions:

We've found an OBDII interface called TriCAN that can be used with OBDII systems, but we were wondering: Is there a Saab-specific diagnostic/datalogging system that we should be looking for?

Also, we don't have the Saab shop manuals from GM yet (they're supposed to ship soon.....hopefully), and we were looking to identify all of the wires in the engine wiring harness and the vehicle wiring harness.

We've noticed a large rectangular gray harness plug on the engine wiring harness, but we don't know where it plugs in. There are three more rectangular plugs that look just like it on the vehicle wiring harness end, but they are all male-ends as well.

We just had a really nice engine stand built so that we can easily put the engine on the dyno and take it off to put it on our test stand as well. More pictures will follow as we get the test stand painted and the mounting holes drilled to put the engine stand on.

Thanks for the tip on the direct ignition cassette begin incorrect, we had already planned to order a new DI cassette just as a spare, so maybe we might have to order two. We checked the turbocharger and it's a Mitsubishi TD-04HL, so we're all set there. All of our parts have been ordered from GM and now we just have to fill our time with something while we wait for them to roll in.

Thank you for all your help so far, our tasks have been greatly simplified with the assistance you have provided.

Oh, and here's our VIN if anyone was interested:
