viggen question

i have been savin up to get a new car and my tranny just went in my 9000, and i know thats a common problem when u start boostin them up. I was just wonderin if the viggens have the same tranny's or if there stronger becasue im starting to fall for the viggens

Definitely not the same. I'd say the gearbox in the Viggen is a bit more durable. Then again I have no experience with Viggens....only 9k's.

What it boils down to is how you drive it.

The Viggen transmission is different, its stronger than the 9k's tranny, has different gearing etc

I think the Viggen has a shorter final drive, im not sure.

Shorter gears.

For me, redline in 2nd is right around 60, 3rd is just over 90.

3rd gear goes like 102 at the limiter with my dads vert. I mean I wouldnt know or anything

Champ are you talking about the start of redline?

EDIT: I rode in JK's 9k aero and his 4th gear goes to about 140. Not sure about the 9-3's though

its not a big concern i was just wonderin so from what i have been seeing there 8-10k i really want a 2 door but i would deff take a 4 for the right amount. Is there anything i should look for?

$10k should get you a nice one if you keep your eyes out. They will all have bent wheels and curbed up front bumpers at that price, mostly.

I'd try to find a stock one that has a good service history and jump on it.
