Complete Exhaust Overhaul

I just placed an order for the next -to-last piece of my intake/exhasust system. I think...

This is what I have so far... Speedparts Intake (already on the car), Red silicone 3" to 2.5" reducer (on the way), a black silicone elbow to go from the base of the intake piping to the intake for the turbine side of the turbo (have it), TD04 turbo (have it), Jak Stoll 3" DP (on the way), 2.5" Saab Sport Exhaust (just got it) and a dual outlet chrome exhaust tip off of ebay (which I just won 5 minutes ago). Oh yeah, I bought ramps today too!

The last part I need to get is the 2.5" 90 degree pipe that will go from the reducer off of the intake to the silicone elbow into the turbo a la Erics's site. Or is it?

When I replace the exhaust, will I need to save the flex pipe from the original exhaust or get another? I am under the impression that one is necessary, but that there isn't one that is included with either the downpipe or the cat-back system. Or do I just get one from a muffler shop?

I'm pretty psyched to get all this stuff done... any and all tips, tricks and advice is welcomed! It just needs to get a little WARMER, dammit! :P

mike keep the stock fglex pipe first of all

also where is the tdo4 from because if it is the same as mine u will not benefit from the silicone elbow, as u will notice there is a squared off edge on the inlet side of the turbo... if it is a tapered edge then there is no problem.

o ya is it a tdo4-15t 6cm? or 5 cm....?

if u ned help installing as always gimme a call and i will b there or u can come here on a weekend we will crank it all out...

--> Got it. I'll keep the flex pipe. Glad I asked!

-->It's a Viggen TD04 I got from Eric. No squared off edge, the silicone elbow fits nice-nice.

-->5cm... went to a breakers in Wallingford, one of the few that lets you walk around any more, and looked for a 9000 aero. They had one that had bit picked over pretty good, but the manifold, turbo and the upper engine mount were all still there. Let me put it like this: the guy wanted $75 for the engine mount alone.

if u ned help installing as always gimme a call and i will b there or u can come here on a weekend we will crank it all out...

-->Thanks Rico, I appreciate it a lot. I'll talk to you about it more when I have all the parts.

Downpipe from Jak Stoll arrived yesterday. It came right when he said it would. Welds look good, Magnaflow cat, nice clean bends. He was easy to get a hold of and a nice guy about everything. Can't wait to get this thing together!

I can't believe it is supposed to snow here tomorrow. When is it going to warm up again??? Oh well...
