I wish I had my/adshafts old ss lines installed on my td04. Come another monday I know of a local shop thats gonna get to deal with my rounded off banjo bolt at the oil filter bracket. That way if they break it they can buy me a new brakcet and do all the moving of parts. I'm so ready to be done with having an oil leak down there.
No I bought them from Mcrowley when he decided not to put them on his NG. So I bought them and then bought the material to make the oil line. Then I found I couldn't remove the old oil line when I went to start swapping it all around when the bolt was rounded . So for now they have been sitting in a nice little box in my car.
I'll admit I'm scared to try anything on it since its my only car and a banjo bolt isn't solid all the way through which is the reason I'd rather let a shop do it. That way if they mess it up its there liability.
But this will all do lots better when we can get a cooler oil thermostat...
Also you have to watch getting too much oil trapped in the cooler. When the thermostat opens you get a large percentage of cold oil back into the system.
