not restrictived at all. you dont even need to do anything to do it. your only buying the intake to hear your turbo spool and your lucky to get 4whp

The "Cobra" pipe isnt cast iron like the stock pipe, its stainless and smoothe on the inside so it will flow a bit better. Id say the upgraded pipe from GS is good for about 5 or 10hp

I never had a chance to install it on my car. I sold it to pete93t he said you could feel the extra power, and you get more turbo sound with it.

Sooooooooooo, what happened to your car? Last post was you not being able to get your car started and you wanted to sell it. Now your talking about cobra pipes. Please let us know how you fixed it? Was it the dic; did ya get the spark plug out; did ya need a new HD; are ya going with RWD and a cosworth?

LOl, you remembered lms? Yeah, it's fixed, took it to the dealer, got the plugs fixed and cleaned the engine out. Fuel pump was bad also, they said it was overloading the engine with fuel so it wouldn't start, i guess b/c the plugs could spark, i dk.

I already have the fund for the cosworth/rwd in gear. Should be starting to install this December. While that's going on i'll be driving my rx-8(not a bad car, just no torque, for sale btw!)

Today, i'm going to go ahead and install my GS turbo intake pipe, i had it on before the dealer but i took it off. Now my car doesn't sound/feel as badass as before

I don't think the dealer reset my ecu after fixing my car. So i don't think my stage 3 tune was lost, because 4th will still take me to 130! =)

You'd be better off going with the 2006+ Factory KING Corba pipe instead of the GS pipe. I did quite a bit of research and after speaking with Hirsch and folks in Sweden like DrBoost over on SC, the KING Cobra is the most superior pipe for a turbo in the stock location.

Now this does require some machining to the turbo's intake house (which Nick at GS did for me).
