K&n Apollo Cold Air Intake

Thinking of putting one of these new Apollo air intakes on my car. Saw it at a tuning shop close to my house. Its nice cause it comes with a heat resistent hose so u can stick the actual filter nice and low down by the spots for cooler air. Then the hose which is 70mm comes with 70 to 60, 70 to 70, and 70 to 80mm adaptors to fit onto the MAF. Anyone know what size it is? Been too lazy to open my bonnet and check

Just saw this post from nearly 2 years ago. I have been having a hard time finding any performance air intakes for saab 900NG's. I was wondering if anyone knew if this would work or not.

You could get this GenuineSaab.com

Or you could just make one yourself for around $60.

Take a look at this thread https://www.saablink.net/forum/perfor...ld-9-3/433.htm

If you just buy sheet metal, you can make a similar shield as the GS intake and fit a larger filter so that you're not restricted to that stubbier one from GS.

To the moon, Alice!
Since you have a MAF, you have a T7 so what you need to do is stick with stock. Money is better spent on other items.

this one is a no go for big figures...works for turbo engines up to 350 HP...
I bet quite some guys here have this figures well over-passed.

So go with GS set-up..good for 550 HP or even more

Feel free to also copy my design, made it at the end of summer for around 40 bucks and works well. Made a quick guide + pictures below:

What does looks/sound have to do with efficiency?

If you ask me, the stock system looks much better than most of the hack jobs that people come up with especially that zipped tied monstrosity above.

Zip ties were used to hold everything in place while mounting it up, but I assumed you didn't read the thread anyways. To be honest, who really asked you what you think looks good anyway?

Then post a real pic, not some pic which looks like a 5 yr old put it together. Also, if you would have read the thread you would have noticed that he has a T7, not a T5.
Oh and I didn't know that you had to be asked to have an opinion-my bad.
Cob on.

So you want me to take another picture because your mind is so dense you can't imagine the same exact setup, without two red ties? You'll make it far in life.

I don't know Watkins, the fat kid with the sweater might think it is a hack job, so watch out*

Watkins' design is the one I'm going to copy. Maybe one day my engine bay will look that nice.

To Aikmanson, what reaction did you expect lol? I'm not being a dick but you cannot say that with zipties it looked good and that is all lms is saying. If you had your finished product picture up instead, I'm sure he wouldn't have said that. Plus they're red
