900s (n/a) intake

Yes I searched.

But all you bastards have turbossss

The rallyx car is a 2.3n/a.

Anyone done anything exciting or beneficial to the intakes on a naturally aspirated model?

I saw the GS makes one? Worth it?

FYI, I 900s stays about dead even with a 9-3ss Linear for all of second gear.

Let's make one instead.

I think there is a thread around on it, and a few other things.

Please find it.

Also, I am up for making one, just not sure how easy it is. Plus I am tired of welding.

I will weld this time.

Or use PVC, if you are really lucky.

All I did on mine was cut the bottom out of the stock airbox and toss in a K&N drop in panel filter. I still have it if you're interested.

I have a GS intake on my NG and it works great. You hit about 3500 and she'll start to sing. Power gains wise it did seem to wake her up a little, put a little pep in her step.

If you have a pic or a write up let me know.

As for the gs intake pipe, I have a hard time justifying 110 bucks for 2ft lb per their dyno results.

Especially since i have more into the suspension than the whole car cost

No pics. Basically what I did was cut the entire bottom out of the airbox and remove the snorkel. Essentially what I was left with was the K&N panel open on the bottom.

I never could justify the $110 for the intake pipe either, especially on a $1200 car. $40 for the K&N was more reasonable since the car needed a filter anyways (and I kept it when I sold the car).

See above comments on spending money on this car.

Topher, I'm sure we can make something decent with $25 worth of stainless or aluminum.

PVC intakes sound cool. At least on Subaru Outbacks they do.
