The transmission is the main concern after stage 3.

There are a few out there with "Stage 4" ng900/og9-3 with auto trans. As long as the tune is written for an auto trans you should be OK. Obviously more power = more wear on drivetrane components, transmission included.

It would be a good idea to change trans fluid with every other oil change if you tune an auto trans car.

Stage 4 uses the standard trionic 5 or 7 injectors from every tuner that I can think of.

But yes to the other things (upgraded IC, 3" downpipe and whatever the tuner suggests from the DP to the tailpipe, and a TD04).

Nice thing about the auto trans...no need to upgrade the clutch

I'd just be worried about the kickdown if you dump your foot into it.

The kick down is furious and best feathered until after the immediate down shift. Keep the TCS off or the bucking can break the transmounts prematurly and other things as well. The kick down is smoother over 80mph because it is only downshifting one gear.

yeah kicking down into 2nd at like 55mph with near to 300ft-lbs is kinda scary for the transmission.

but yes, you can get it tuned up. just be sensible with it.
