DIY T-5 supply pipe.

I think I have a need for a larger delivery pipe.

This took 30 minutes, a mitre box, hacksaw, and spare tubing...

I plan to eventually get better clamps, as well as a GS 3" elbow for the throttle body.

It was actually pretty easy to do. I also plan to make a hard pipe to the intercooler as well. That's going to be the "fun" part.

Nice JORB there good sir! What are you going to do for the TB bend? (It's to bad nobody makes an after market intake that makes the TB position an pipe routing make more sense.) IC hard pipes are defiantly going to be a bit of a bigger job! Bumper removal anyone?

Nice!

I think my car could benefit from one of these as well.

...and a set of Konis.

Yes, it is!

I wonder who gave it to me?

Koni's are sweet. If you have the means, I highly recommend it.

I am waiting for Nick @ GS to publish his suspension recommendations based on his auto-xing red Vig. But, I must say the ride in your can and Champs is SUPERB!

PS. Palmer is laying pipe ROFL!

+1.
The Koni's on Lendo's Vig helped the car alot.

I might be buying Trexturk's old ride this weekend. If I get it, Koni's will most likely be the 1st thing I do.

Were talking like stage 5 and up right?

No...well apparently the NA manifold does have some bennefits, however machining out that TB is going to do nothing.

From what I hear the NA helps down low, but you lose up top, right? Palmer needs help up top.

I agree, you need to have it come out at 2.5" from the ic and go 2.5" all the way to the 2.5" or 3" tb. I use 2.5" rubber for the part that passes the dp to help with heat soak.

That is why I came up with the ets ic that has 2.5" inlet outlet pipes

My car now goes from turbo to 2.5" ic piping to the 2.5" inlet of the ic and then from the 2.5" outlet of the ic to 2.5" piping all the way to my 2.5" tb.

I am 2.5" from turbo to intake

The way it was explaned to me is it needs to be the same ID all the way and if you have a smaller section, that will be the bottleneck and there is no reason to make the rest of the pipe larger ID if you have a smaller ID somewhere in that line.

Same applies to exhaust in theory: No reason to have a 3" dp if there is a small 2.5" section, like at the turbo connection or like a 9k with the first bend in 2.5". Not sure I buy that in entirely, but its supposed to be true in theory I guess...

John
