The #6 td04 housing is small, period. Its a small turbo when you look at lots of the turbos out there. I have a few sitting on a shelf with several t25s and they ond't look much different in terms of size.

Those HX35s on the other hand, those are large. I was almost taken aback the first time I saw mine, but have since gotten used to it.

So, lets see who the first one of the 3 regular posters on TSL who have recently bought an HX35 is the first to get theirs installed and working...

No. There is no shaft play at all.

The place I bought mine from sells all of theirs as "rebuildable cores" for liablility purposes. Since there are so many e-douchebags that buy stuff, abuse it, wreck it and then want a refund. Its just a way for them to cover their asses.
