Td04hl 18t

Anyone know where I can get a TD04HL 18T on the internet or around town(Houston)? Also since it's not THAT big of an upgrade would, after I install it when I find one would I have to upgrade anything else in my engine?
Current engine mods are:

-Forge intercooler
-Open-air intake
-Turbo intake pipe upgrade
-3" Downpipe w/race cat
-Maptun Stg. 3 ECU

it is not an off the shelf turbo. you need to find a tod04-15t with the 6cm exhaust side (off a 9000 aero) and send it out to be upgraded/machined out/clipped.

then you need injectors (preferrably the siemens deka 60#), a new tune, and a 3 inch catback.

Yeah, if he doesn't have a 6cm or larger exhaust side then yeah, that will be an issue. I wish I could bring myself to sell my spares...but there really is no way I'm going to

Is it worth converting a 15t to 18t or 19t(what's it's limit hp wise)? Or just better getting a bigger turbo if you want to attain a reliable 350hp? That's my issue right now.

Better to get another turbo for over 300hp. EGT's start to become to much of an issue.

Sorry if this is off topic, but does relate to limits of an 18t.

That's just it. The bigger you go the smaller the bank account get. Dammit

...and usually a higher flow fuel pump.

Get a T3/T4 hybrid w/ something like a 60 trim in and out. Slap it on that 91 and call it good.

$300-400 very common. Thats the price to have a shop upgrade the TD04 wheels and so on. Basically the hybrid is a better deal.

That will cost you about $100-200 more for an HX35. You will have later spool as well. But, your 91's lower gearing will help w/ keeping the revs up. Plus the ceiling for making power is a bit higher. Then again so is the likely hood you will brake things.

Funny thing is I've got a GT35 on it's way to me in the mail, I bought it based on the garrett site which said it was good from 260-390hp (perfect for me I thought) WRONG!!!. After a little digging around and some knowledgeable help, I got discouraged from using it. Will make a nice paper weight when it comes. LOL HX35 is anyone running that in their 9000?

blouch offers the 19t upgrade wheel but it is a horrible idea because egts will be absolutly insane.

the 18t is basically the perfect street turbo in my opinion, it can make 300whp and is a direct bolt on, and is still rebuildable/keeps reliability, also doesnt sacrifice spool all that much.
