Rear transmission mount failures

Has anyone else broken their rear transmission mount bracket? I broke mine about 2 years ago and then again about 2 weeks ago. When it broke the first time i had just the upgraded GS transmission mount and now i have the upgraded GS motor mount as well. I am thinking about making a jig and making a new mount out of steel plate.
Anyone have a spare bracket i could buy??

I broke mine, the shop couldn't get a new one in and had to build me a solid one. It's loud until the car gets warmed up, but shifts extremely tight. I've since bought a new one but haven't had time to put it in yet.

Very interesting. I guess I will keep a bracket as a spare then.

I am thinking a mount bracket and the hydro mount both need to be changed. It would help w/ putting the power down and rowing the gears. It seems like this combo would make the biggest difference overall.

That bracket shouldn't be breaking like that. If you goto a solid mount on the rear then the bracket is gonna take much more stress then a hydraulic mount would induce. The only time that bracket and mount see any significant load is during acceleration. That is very perplexing.........then again I did have an alternator bracket break lol.
