2.3 turbo head from a 9-5 will it bolt up to a 2.3 ng block

i no this is an on going thing. but i just picked up a 94 ng 900 with motor problems. i have a chance to get a 2.3 turbo head off of a 9-5 and it will come with turbo manifold, intake manifold n a few other parts. is the head a direct bold to the 2.3 900s block. thanks

The 9-5 is a Trionic 7 head, with different valves, cams and manifolds on both sides of the motor from a Trionic 5 (NG/9k turbo head). You have a further step removed in that the NG 900 2.3 NA head has different cams as well from a T5.

I believe it will bolt up physically, and you will certainly want to change the valves and cams from your old motor (or better yet ... new r&r).

All that said, I don't really know if it would be worth it in the end. How much is it? A good enough deal to try it out?

There are some NG 900 NA 2.3 Heads in a junkyard near you no doubt.

Hopefully someone more knowledgable can chime in.

Keep the new head and valves, use the old cams and manifolds.
