Why are you running an MBC on staged tuning?

Oh man, here it is again.

Because sometimes people prefer to do this? Because $250 for a BPC unit is insane? Various reasons...

Stage 3 hardware + Stock Software + MBC = fast spool, max boost 15psi

Stage 3 hardware + Stage 3 Software = Fast spool, max boost ~20psi

With the stock software, you still have your 15psi fuel cut. You'll probably see ~20hp gains due to the stg3 hardware, but you'll only be boosting 2-3psi more than stock.

With Stg3 software, your fuel cut is raised, and you'll see gains of up to 40-50hp, since you'll be boosting that much more.

now if you were to run Stg3 hardware + Stg3 software + MBC, then you'll make the same power (the MBC doesn't add any more poser or boost), you'll just hold boost longer when the software would normally pull it back due to knock at high RPMs, and boosting with knock is bad.

You can make some good power without software, in fact once you do all your hardware, (minus certain parts) it then makes software selection easier.
