Reusing Viggen pressure plate...

I will be replacing my clutch over the winter sometime and am wondering if anyone has reused the viggen prssure plate with a different disk. I currently am running a viggen clutch setup and it just breaks loose when cold outside. I want to put in a Spec stage 3 disk with the used viggen plate.I am thinking I can give it to a machine shop and let them give it a light resurfacing to just remove any scale and embedded material. It has like 25k on it. What do you guys think? Has anyone done this? Thanks.

With that combo you should have no problems. The stg3 is pretty far overkill. Make sure the flywheel is flat though. Might need to give it a while to wear in.. 300 miles or so.

So you're saying it's o.k. to reuse the pressure plate as long as it's fairly new and hasn't been abused?
