Will need slave cylinder soon so....

I'm looking at Nicks lightened flywheel. Any ideas on longevity? I noticed on the GS site it meantions there is a frictional material that can be applied to the flywheel after usage to prolong its lifespan. How fast does this thing wear out....This car is my daily driver, I'm not looking for something that will need to be serviced every 20k miles.

Where are you seeing that on the site. Not finding it even on the products page.

Wonder how I read that and didn't notice. I'm calling Nick tomorrow anyways once my loan paperwork is processed and my money is in the account. I'll ask him about it.

I've been reading to much tax code and completely missed the answer to my research problem and got it wrong. Tax code sucks. They make you go read a couple subsections down to define something and then you go back and continue reading the section prior to know what the hell there talking about. After jumping around so much it becomes very difficult to read and make heads or tails of anything.

The flywheel is a wear item Just like a brake rotor. Maybe not so much but you get the idea. With the original flywheel you can machine it but only a little bit and if there is any cracking it must be replaced. With the Alu flywheel it has a bolted in friction surface. This can be replaced way down the road for a little cost rather than replace the entire Flywheel.

Where are the replacements? 360 is a good price for a lightened flywheel.

I would assume a replacement could be ordered from Nick or through Spec directly.
