This Mount is Sagging

Pulled the engine out today and had problems removing the front passenger side engine mount. It doesn’t look ripped or damaged, but it had apparently deformed enough so that the screw was not lining up with the hole. It was a bit difficult to get out. Has anyone else see this? Luckily I had already ordered the GS poly mount, plus some other things .

That mount is very common. You just have to force the hex bit in there. Bend it a little. It is easy out on the bench. Alternatively you can lift the engine while still in the car but then you risk damaging the threads as it comes loose.

The flywheels we keep in stock.

Waiting on the laser shop for the engine mount washers and some other parts. Should be this week.

Thanks again Nick for the balance shaft flange to replace the one I broke. You can see the balance shaft in the vice on the second picture.

Good to hear Nick. I'm still waiting on my loan extension paper work so that I can order my clutch parts.
