the engine in my car is litterally junk
third set of used pistons with used rings on them in th at block
the engine was a total sludgebox I used the head off my last engine rather then clean the sludge out of the one on my engine the engine in my car runs perfectly, dosent burn oil or have any blowbye

I say all that to say they are tough engines

the max HP on my car on that vid was 365WHP I did 425 on the same dyno but broke 2 pistons doing so

take care

That has to be a odd feeling. Running the 1/4 without feeling the tourqe.

Looked good Jak. Seemed though you had more fumes coming out your catchcan filter setup (can't remeber if your running catch can or just a filter element) toward the top side of your pull than you were at SOC.

you are allways going to see some blowbye under boost
I think as well that when the pistons get good & hot that some oil cooks & makes more fumes

I have a catchcan with a breather so the fumes vent to atmosphere

the S10 & many other V8 cars even with a mean lope dont make as much as my car does nor are they as fast you should see the looks on their faces
have a great weekend

That is the best part of drag racing with a saab, the looks on the other guys faces as you blow by them around the 1/8th... They look over at you all confused and dumbfounded.... Its one thing to go fast in a car that everyone else has, a sti or mustang or camero or something like that.... Its quite another thing to blow by them in the only Saab at the track! Makes it all the much more fun in my opinion.

Good job Jak,

John
