bushings and brace, like night and day

Got the new goodies installed. KIC clamp and brace, and Nick T's new poly bushes. Difference is like night and day. I have an amazing reduction in torque steer, to the point where in some situations it is totally eliminated.

the car feels more solid and drives straighter, like after an alignment. less tramlining, or whatver you call it when the bumps in the road make the car steer itself... overall stiffer feel to the steering and suspension. better traction and handling in turns. i am very pleased. I should have done this before the Stage 1.

After I picked up the car from the mechanic who installed my bushings, the service manager confessed that he took my car out for a bit of a spin and said with wide eyes like a kid on Christmas morning that it was like a whole new car, he could not believe it. He said that he could punch it and only have a few fingers on the wheel instead of two hands gripping with white knuckles. I think he had too much fun in my car.

highly reccommened. Wish i had this in time for Saabtoberfest.

I might be looking at the bushing upgrades in the near futuer. I already have a VRK and rear sway and must say the differance it night and day. I still have to have a pretty good grip on the wheel in 1st and 2nd though since the addition of the SMBC and 3"DP...

Give me a shout when you do this. The bushing replacement is a royal PITA but very worthwhile. I ended up doing them all since I had the subframe off, and got the 6-pt subframe brace for extra stability...
