Well I bought a Viggen clutch...what else

Well I bought the viggen clutch set of GS. I am planning to do this swap in about a week. I am getting all the seals from GM for the transmission, but what about a throwout bearing? should I replace it also? And does the GS viggen set come witha alignment tool?

I've got seals if needed. I would buy a new throwout bearing if possible. I don't believe the GS clutch kit does.

My clutch is being replaced tomorrow. Everyone recommended a new slave cyl which came with the throwout bearing.

I also suggest rear main seal. I also assume you are getting the viggen pressure plate too?

Well depending if you have the hydraulic clutch or not, you will want either the master slave, or the relase bearing for the cable clutch. My release bearing actually failed before my OEM clutch did. Since I was gonna drop the trans, I did the whole viggen clutch/PP upgrade, new release bearing, and resurface your flywheel. Also, my viggen clutch kit from genuine didnt come with a Clutch Alignment tool which you will want to make sure you have. I believe the Spec packages do.

The tool from EEuroparts
