big thumbs up

Finished installing the driver side poly mount and rear poly axle bushings compliments of dip (thanks again Dmitry)

AWSOME. driving is much tighter and the car is now dare I say impressive. Two upgrades that are very complimentary. Installs were pretty straightforward and didn't require THAT much beer. Instead of more speed I'm def. going the path of bigger brakes and better handling. I feel the car is much more well rounded with a responsive chassis. If anyone needs tips on installing let me know, but it's not that difficult anyone can pretty much do it in their backyard.

Post the tips for install here so they are easily searchable!

Did you end up completely dropping the rear axle?

I did not drop the whole axle. I was able to just unbolt the two bolts connecting the bushings/axle to the frame. A good thing to do is place jackstands or jacks under the axle to catch the axle so the rubber brake line on the drivers side doesn't extend so far that it breaks.

The bushings themselves are hard to simply press out because its hard to get a good grip with a gear puller. I took the path that wyldsaabman had done and took a large drill bt and drilled a bunch of the bushing out before pressing them out. There is a plastic sleeve which holds the bushing in, if it doesn't come out when you press them out, then you can cut them from the inside and tap them out with a screw driver and hammer.

Installing the poly bushings is simple, they slide right in but may require a bit of pressure to fully seat inside. Then take a jack and lift the axle, align it (easy), then stick the bolts back in.

The only difficulty I ran into was the driver side bolt would hit my exhaust when being backed out. I also have the 3" MP Performance exhaust so im not sure if this would happen with a stock exhaust but even if it does, just unbolt the exhaust from that portion to give you some more room to manuever the bolt out
