O2 sensor emulators?

What options are there for o2 sensor emulators for folks that don't have a cat?

Anyone try the spark plug de-foulers?

I'm getting tired of the CEL due to my lack of cat. When I go with the Top-mount turbo & Top-mount downpipe, I'll throw on a 3" race cat.. but until then, I think I'll try a cheap fix.

See, CEL's are annoying!

I've checked it. It's the rear o2 sending the CEL. When I put my stock DP/Cat back on (leaving the Nordic ECU still in) the CEL went away. Now with the 3" DP back on, the CEL came back.

I don't think I clamped my pipe tight enough, I have an exhaust leak under the car now.. sounds like where the DP meets up with my 3" midpipe. When I go under the car tomorrow to look about fixing it, I may drill a hole for the rear o2 sensor and weld in a bung. Then use 1 or 2 of the spark plug anti-fouler spacers to keep the sensor out of the direct exhaust stream.

Might be worth a shot.

Currently my rear o2 sensor is sitting in my trunk, since I don't have a bung to screw it into at the moment.

sorry dying mouse batteries gave mine a mind of its own in high lighting and deleting...the rest was something like...

they dont work until you find the right resistance, my was spotty but it was also an eay piece, and i have seen a few people run them successfully.

although since amish doesnt even have the rear o2 hooked up he should prolly try that first.

Use the rear 02, but get a non-electrical anti-foulder that moves the tip of the O2 sensor out of the exhaust stream....

Mine works fine...but then again...I have a cat

Hey, I have an idea! Since we're not in a developing nation like China you could run a cat and lose a few HP but cut your CO emissions by about 80% as required by law. Technology is pretty neat.

I would have passed emmisions with my catless, except "the guy" that was supposed to be cool, failed me on the visual. I bitch slapped my buddy for reccomending him. Went back next day with the stock DP on, yes it ran even cleaner, and passed the visual.

mmmmrrmmm...that bastard....end rant

well i replaced it 6 months before, then when i got the new dp it came on again. so i used the warranty on the sensor and got a new one, but still had the cel, so then i asked what it could be on here and someone said fouler adapters, it worked for a week but now it does it again. but i need to get it fixed cause my stage 4 is coming this week. and i dont know what to do.
