Need some clarification

On Nordic tuned ecu's for T5 on Genunine Saab. Is each stage progressivly more expensive? Because on the website if you go to order a stage 3 it adds like 1000 bucks to the current 550. But on here people are selling stage 3's they bought for 550.

Secondly, would they be able to program an ecu that a SAFC could be used for fine air fuel tuning? Perhaps make the ecu rich so leaning it out wouldnt trip limp mode. Or disable that feature all together so no matter the changes limp mode wouldnt come about.

I know I could send that question directly to them, but I would like to here input on my Fav. Board.

The ecu price doesnt change until you go custom. But each stage requires more hardware than the last, 3" exhuast, intake, etc etc.. So what you are looking at is the package price with that hardware inclueded.

The ecu should be tuned pretty darn well. I don't know if you can really "fine tune it" even more.

The thing also shouldn't lean out, making it to run rich could possibly foul plugs, clog the cat, and send up a cel.

Oh I see, thanks for the clarification. They should maybe clear that up on their website because it appears that the ecu is priced that way.

Im sure they are really close. I would just like to be able to control the fuel if I made changes to my car and not have to get it reflashed. because if I got a bigger turbo I could remap the fuel with an SAFC, except the stock ecu does not allow that.
