I took my car down to the frontage road with the drag radials 255 50 16 & jeese lowease the first time I bareley got it to do a burn out
Ill definately have to use water at the burnout box
they will not spin rolling on the throttle in 1st or second
Ill get a pic of the car with the wheels & tires on
it really is incredible

yes I used the steel wheels I welded up
take care

yeah the wheels seem fine
they arent really true but they will do till I burn through these tires & then Ill buy a decent set of 15s
Im running intrax springs on the front & viggen springs in the back so its low in the nose & tall in back hopefully to reduce weight transfer
I did add spacers to the front so the tires would clear & just bareley

hopefully these links will work
take care
JAK

I think he said he only runs these on the track, i don't think either of those would matter when you're going straight for a quarter mile

damn those are wide! i'm quite curious what that car will do at the strip.

and dan, the car has no trouble at all destroying the tires with 225/45/17's on....i can vouch for that!

I run sumitomo HTRZ2 normally & they are pretty sticky
at SOC I could get them to spin but not like WHAM against the rev limit
these tires are friggin sticky
they are almost 11 inches wide & feel like they are made of the tempurpedic memory foam
yeah they do rub.... I wouldent drive around with them on they are for the strip only ( or the occaisional road burn
I am limited in HP by my pistons
in the drag car there will be forged pistons & 2.3 litres Ill run the 125 shot on 20+PSI
stock pistons break at 125 shot & 15 PSI with the timing & fuel set up conservativeley
I just want to see what the black car will do
Im hoping for mid 12s but we will see
we may bring a trailer up & if so I may just go for broke on it
as it is now it runs really good on 25PSI & 75 shot thats what I ran on the dyno at SOC for the 400WHP
I think Ill launch with boost only & then arm the nirtous while shifting to second
the nitrous really spools up the turbo much quicker like 700-1000RPM lower
you guys have a great week
I should be going to the track this coming weekend
take care
JAK

x2!

That drivetrain can't be happy.

Looking forward to seeing how it does at the track!

I can hear your gearbox crying from here.

Good luck sounds fun! I need to get some of these customer projects done then get my cars sorted out.
