Question GS Sway bar...

Hi,

just curious... 22mm version vs the 'race' 25mm version.

Is there any reason one might not want to get the 25mm for their street car? oversteer inducing? I used to know how Sway bars (front or rear) effected under/oversteer. But I'm having a brainfart and can't visualize it right now...

Thanks

They used to make a "squid bar", Jameson has one, not sure if they're still available...

for some reason, the word squid doesn't give me a good impression of the strength of the bar...

Not stainless....the sucker rusts! I believe that Abbott's is stainless.

The 'squid bar' or 'octopus' as I've heard it called, is an upper strut brace for the front struts. I own one too and it does more what the 6 point brace does...tighten up the front end.

The 22mm is very nice...you won't be disappointed!

Basically use the 22mm. Leave the front stock. Stiffen the springs.

I have the big front and rear. When driving on "fun" roads in the rain with bald tires, is when you don't want the 25mm rear.

For the price, start small, feel it out, and if your not convinced sell it to a newb and get the larger.
