I modded some steel wheels today

I want to get my car to the 1/4 mile before it gets detuned
I put these wheels together & now they are 16X8.25
Im going to run 255 50 16 26 inch diameter BFG drag radials
have a great weekend

yeah I did my best while welding but Ill bet a hammer will do
& mabey use a wheel ballancer to mark the high/ low spots

You need an old big lathe and wheel hub. I have seen this done a few times. My lathe won't swing a wheel that big.

Just don't beat on the balancer.

yeah I wont beat on the ballancer
Ill use the ballancer to spinn the wheel so I can mark the low & high spots & then work it baby & stick it back on
Im pretty strapped at the moment & the tires are gona run about $300
Id like to get up to bristol & bring my buddy with the SC400 1JZ with the big ass john dear turbo on it (actually says john dear & has the logo) 460WHP on his mustang dyno
go beat up on some Camaros & Mustangs
Ill bet they will be suprized by my car
have a great wekend

yeah I drive around with the hitch ball on too
its my dynamic drag device & adds at least 100WHP

I did think the wheel mod was verry 50s like
no money & a few remaining brain cells = wide steel wheels
