Mine’s tapped at the BOV, no anticipator. Works absolutely great with the Aero TD04. The same setup with the T25 produced dangerous boost spikes.

This is an old pic, but it still shows the tap

i'm not sure this is applicable but there was a thread on SC pertaining to a place to tap for the boost gauge....they specifically said NOT to tape at the MAP

view the thread here http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/vi...ap+boost+gauge

MBC or Boost Gauge?

I have never heard of tapping a MBC off the MAP sensor and doesn't sound like a good idea anyway. For a boost gauge maybe, but better off the BPV.

As for boost pressure, the MBC is tapped between the TB and IAC for me...the APR is tapped at the turbo.
