liketheword, i eyeballed both the seats in my ng900 and my 9-5 and they looked pretty close, no idea on the actual mounting points, but I'm sure you could fab something if need be. The seats in the 9-5 might be slightly wider, then again I was looking at my Aero seats which have slightly more bolstering on the sides (to keep you firmly planted when going around cloverleaf on-ramps at high rates of speed ). I would definitely advise you to look for the Aero vent seats as the extra bolstering is not only a good way to keep you in your seat, its also cushy as hell, and they're the best seats I've planted my butt in... ever. I drove my NG900 last night and the seats seems almost a little hard... and my mom's manual seats in her og9-3? Forget about it!

I'd think if people have been able to fit the seats from a 9000 Aero into a c900, you should have no problem doing the same with the 9-5/9-3.

I have thought about this too, because of how hard it is to find beige viggen seats.

Thats great info! I just need to keep an eye out for 9-5 Aero vented seats that are charcoal gray. That would be hella pimp Now... How to do this w/o costing an arm and a leg...

I talked to some guy at the 2003 SOC who fitted ventilated 9-5 seats into his 1970 or '71 99. It was pretty cool. I seem to remember the black interior and lack of A/C was the reason for the retrofit.

What would be truly pimp is if you took viggen seats, and had them recovered with vented material, and installed the fans from the areo seats.

My black interior would be sooo much nicer with fans.

Fans are "aircraft" to! I saw a government study published recently about how ventilated seats are a gas saving measure. Due less A/C use. Makes sense to me!
