she is in!!!

i got my TD04 put in the ng a few minutes ago. will be adding the fluids in tha morning along with a noce test drive. the trubo has 4k miles on it, so do i have to let it break in for a while? and what are things/problem i should look for or be aware of? and how will the car feel with this baby in there, will it pull alot harder, or not much?

will this oil be ok to use for the first cycle. and when should i change my oil next, in like 2k miles?

I put the 2.3 in at the same time as the TD so it's hard for me to tell ya but yeah, it'll pull noticeably harder

Ck for leaks around the banjo fittings is one thing and yes before you start the car unplug the di and let oil circulate through the turbo before starting.

Ams oil is nothing but bad. I've never used it before and only hear about bad things that happened when used. But you can do what you want.

What's wrong with amsoil?

Also, if the turbo already has 4k on it, you don't need to worry about it.

Drive nice to make sure you have no leaks for a while, then WOT.

my old 9k had nothing but amsoil it's entire life. it's soon gonna turn 243k with the original turbo, head's never been off and there's no timing chain noise.

I don't see what the problem is with Amsoil either. I've had it in my 9000 Aero for quite awhile and it runs just fine!

Amsoil is easily the best oil out there, I think you were given some bad information.

Grats on getting the TD04 in there, keep us posted.
