"Free mods"

I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to make more power/airflow.
I already have the intake, and the resonator removed. Can I take any other parts off that restrict air, or tune something myself?

Thank you Topher.
I actually have taken out the back seat before, and the spare as well.

Take a dremel with a sanding cylinder and smooth out all the lips and casting imperfections on your air intake pipes from IC to TB.

Unplug your Battery for a night and readapt your ECU to some hard pulls in 3rd and 4th up a hill.

Change your spark plugs.

Take off the VW badge

You could always cut your exhaust off at the downpipe? Remove powersteering, remove a/c, and any other power draining device on the motor.

But then again I am sure you are building a street car not a race car.

I would suggest that you make sure the car doesn't have any major issue before you do any more mods

Someone should make a CF panel to replace the glass sunroof...

Really, someone should make this!

High RPM ticking can turn into no-RPM smashing.

You should get that looked at.

Remove your ac condenser, and spend $30 on a belt that bypasses the ac compressor.
