Converting from Auto to Manual

On a 1998 900 Turbo S what would it take to convert from auto to manual? Is it fairly straight forward? What parts are needed? How much labor time? Is it worth while? Is an auto really that bad..? I have always been a manual guy myself...

Somebody in DC is selling one of those turbo S models, it might be more cheaper to buy this one and drive it home.

Dont know if its a 5 speed though.

I would like a good cheap Saab Turbo coupe w/ T5 and a 5sp. Any more info on the car you are talking about? What I liked about this it has cloth seats! I do not enjoy my current SWAS inducing leather seats.
