Yes, 16's are as small as you can fit on Viggen brakes. Many of us run 16's in winter.

I run OEM 16" rims in winter, and they fit over my 9-5 Aero brakes.

do you run 16" steel wheels cause i bet the problem is the side of the rim rubbing when the caliper gets extended a bit. steelys are rounded on the side giving more space then the alloys.

I don't think steelies will fit over them, so if you have those for winter you may want to think about that.

as far as i remember, the only 16" saab wheels that wont fit the viggen/aero brakes are the 5-bolt super aero wheels.

Hmmmm... You are not making this easy guys. 2 affirmatives on the current alloy wheels. 1 comment that steelies are fine. And then 1 retorts against steelies and alloys...

I do not run steelies in the winter. I have 16" all year round.

Guys on SaabCentral say they should fit.

FWIW - I'm using OEM alloys - the Saab seven-spoke BBS alloys that we all know and love.

I got them as part of the annual Saab dealer winter tire package, so obviously the dealers know that they fit over the Aero brakes.

you know that the viggen calipers are the same as the 9-3. All you need is that little bracket caliper extension and viggen rotors. but don't know if you have a 9-3 or ng900?

I have a 9-3. Should the dealer have this part? Or do they only come w/ the calipers?

IIRC there was an official "we are no longer carrying this item" from Saab... I do not remember if it was relating to the calipers specifically or the adapters.

ok all you need is a viggen caliper braket to do it. its the outside half of the caliper that mounts to the car.
