My new BBS RK1s

Well, the Viggen wheels went fast, and so I had to find replacements.

Thanks to Lendo for the inspiration...

I picked these up on ebay for a song, and the tires are almost brand new.

Also, check out my Cardomain for updates, and a brief Viggen History.

What do you think?

nice wheels, you could move those delta emblems so they were centered over the side markers and it would be A+++++

Dude, I know... the dealer replaced those (under warranty, aww yeah), and installed them offset.

I've been meaning to center them, but I just haven't had the time.

It's crazy how much better the car feels with light wheels.

It might be the extra half inch in width, or the minimal offset difference, but the car pulls harder, and the turn-in is crisper.

New tires never hurt turn-in, but the feel of extra acceleration is unexplainable except for weight.

Less unsprung weight is also good for handling, and the bumps seem less harsh now too. Again, this could also be due to the wider wheel.

BTW, the tires are 225/45/17.

Yeah, in photos they look smaller than in person.

I think the lip plays with your eyes a bit.

yep the rk1's are sweet. I had them on my 9-3..well they still are on the 9-3.

IIRC they are only 16.5 lbs each.

unsprung weight makes a huge difference on handling accleration and braking

one of the reasons I laugh at people who get huge ass wheels.

I see 1-3 sets a week on ebay, seriously. Expect $500-600 for average-very nice and $800-1100 for MINT/NEW.
