no Turbo lag

zex has a kit for no turbo lag . If you can controlle your addiction to NOS is this a good idea or will it be hard on your car.

idk i have a home made fmic co2 sprayer that seems to help quite a bit but as far a shooting nitrous i wouldnt trust it but if you ran it to a button that would be much safer than a full throttle switch i dont trust those at all if you miss a shift say good bye

A kit like that is designed for smaller displacement engines using LARGE single turbos that create a lot of lag. Modern Saabs really dont suffer much from lag. Money is better spend on software which makes lag even less of an issue.

jameson is spot on, its for when you need to get a big snail spooled up. t25/tdo4 are tiny compared to whatever you'd need NOS to get it spooled

Another option: mount a fifth fuel injector in the exhaust manifold Instant spool, no lag.

C'mon guys. Read your owners manual. Its called the afterburner option. It adds 2000 lbs of thrust which is way better than extra hp.

all the turbo lag systems do is blow NOS into the turbo, thus spooling it, but your car will be really unhappy, making boost off throttle will make even T5 unhappy. If you really want NO turbo lag, find yourself a P2, until then, deal with little lag from a saab

I thought nick discussed this at the dyno day...this is going to make exhaust gas temps skyrocket, which is *probably* not good news for the turbo.

Couldn't you rig up an air compressor or co2 tank to the exhaust manifold that would release off throttle? Thus cooling the exhaust housing and maintaining spool? Rig a secondary dump valve to prevent compressor surge. When co2 cuts, the dump valve closes and instant boost.

I agree and did notice some nice increase in spool-up by installing my water/methonal injection system. It definetely helped my turbo to spool up sooner in the rpm band.

Most use small shots of nitrous to spool-up the larger turbos like the gt3582 or similar. Not really necessary for the smaller turbos in my opinion.

Is the lag REALLY that bad?

Focus on things like suspension and getting the power to the ground.

Amish makes great power, but watching him merge onto I90 was like watching a fat woman trying to ride a bike, his car was wobbling all over, etc...

If I am not mistaken he didnt even have an upgraded rear swaybar till TODAY.

With an NG900 or OG9-3, before approaching 220whp suspension should come first.

On non Vigg's definately. But I havent really had any issues with stock Viggen brakes aside from the dusty pads. Its a good sign that the stock clutch and brakes are up to the task as power levels have increased.
