GReddy EBC

Just installed my GReddy Profec B-spec 2 electronic boost controller today, well yesterday but anyways, after some driving, a couple of pulls and a lot of button pushing later we've got it dialed in and its an amazing little device. I'm thoroughly impressed as I can control spool time, obviously peak boost and base boost, it acts as a digital gauge, display is normally blue but flashes red when you're in the upper limits of your tuning, you can also program it to use a lower boost setting at lower RPMs, and it'll kick it up to the higher boost setting as your RPMs climb. So this is all boring, but how about this, according to the autometer boost gauge i'm right at the threshold of fuel cut at 19 psi, the controller reads 17, perhaps both are off but I'm loving it so far and can't wait to get into some more tuning mods so i can get it down to the track.

Nice.

I'd bet the variation in gauge readings has to do with either where you have the vaccum lines connected. If they're in the same spot, my guess is the autometer one isn't 100% right. I've had a few that read +1-2psi with the engine off.

Yeah the autometer reads 3/4-1 psi with engine off, I'll look into it next time i get a chance under the hood, which should be pretty soon since i'll be installing my AFR gauge just to make sure things stay safe.

You may be able to get a warranty on the gauge. Mine was doing that, and I sent it in, and got a new one for free.

Give em' a call!
