Boost and Oil pressure pull vids.

Well I finally figured out how to get shit over from my phone to my computer via bluetooth what a bitch. Then came the next hurdle, converting 3gp files to something friendly. Got that taken care of so now I'm uploading the vids I did. There no the greatest due to lighting out right now and its sorta difficult to keep the phone from bouncing all over the place when the overpass highway road sucks. I'll try to get new ones done on a better road at a time where nautral light isn't such a bia.

Once the vids are uploaded I'll edit this post with the links.

I'm really suprised at how quiet the car is on the vid for start up. It was 102 in the parking lot when I started her up.

Didn't realise how shitty this one came out but I'll put it up anyways.

Here is the good boost one.

Oil pressure was harder to do becuase I had nothing to rest my arm on and so it was bouncing around..........stupid damn road.

Car is a 99 9-3 with GS 3 inch downpipe, saab sport exhaust, GS cold air intake, and forge dump valve.

What?

I'm pissed for two reasons. One is I had to read this post and not get a video, and the other is you made me have to find the question mark on this fucking swedish keyboard.

Seems low to me but I've never cared before, even when I had a working guage in the car, to check it.

Saabs books say the b204 is supposed to have 40 psi of oil pressure at 2k rpm........mines never been there which I'll attribute to wear and tear. I don't have the time or the space to pull the pan and check the screen to be certain its all good however if it were to run lower all of a sudden I'd be working on finding the time.

i was in my buddy's turboed ls integra the other day and was whatching his oil, it runs at like 70psi, im used to saabs so i was kinda worried and asked him about it. he said it was normal for his cars to run that high preassure. im slowly relaizing how wierd our cars really are, but granted we dont rev to 7500 rpm like his teg did...

I don't even think that if I had the maptun valve springs and software to rev that high that my ops would go that high unless running a 20w50 oil.

the drag cars at my work can run up to 180 psi

Nahum, it may be possible to adjust the oil pressure some how by shimming the pump. I have never looked into it on a saab.
