get a downpipe, intake, cat back, bigger better cooling intercooler. then software from nordic, maptun or sqr. that will get you around 270 HP. get a bigger turbo and some other bits, and you can go even higher.

if you can only spend 2000, sounds like you can get a stage 2 or three package.
check out maptun.com, nordictuning.com, sqr.se, genuinesaab.com

None of the hardware needs for staged software of any kind are hard to perform.

Go here, Http://www.genuinesaab.com and bring your wallet.

If you can swing a hammer and turn a screwdriver you should be able to do intake, exhaust, IC, turbo and software all on your own.

I used to love the torque steer before stage 3, but now its much more behaved with the brace.

the 6pt isn't as important, but it helps prevent wheelspin when cornering and rough terrain.

the 1inch ARB takes away almost ALL body roll, i've had the rear end kick out on me a few times in slippery/ dirty roads.

Forge intercooler is better than the viggen intercooler. Its slightly bigger and it has metal endtanks and is a bar and plate intercooler. Viggen is junk really when it comes down to comparison. Plastic endtanks and tube fin design are used on all oem intercoolers becuase it makes them cheaper.

I don't have one for sale so I can't answere that question. But I need you to answere all my questions.

1. Can somebody you know help you work on the saab? And not some big block chevy mechanic. Somebody that knows saabs?
2. Are you against the idea of buying used parts?
3. Are you in a hurry?
4. How many times do you want to upgrade the same thing? The viggen ic will work for a while, but if you are going big, IE more than $2000 budget, the forge may be the better option.
5. How long have you been driving? Can you/will you be able to handle a car that has all performance upgrades but no brake or suspension work?
~I raced a high school kid on an old airstrip years ago, I had better brakes and new the runway, I stopped at the end, his car took 12 people to push our of the mud, and was probably damaged. Yeah I won too. But he was to consumed with beating me he lost site of the fact that normally things take off at the end of a runway.
