Search around the site for this answer. There are thousands of posts on a good BOV, here is just an example:

There are a few good ones. I personally like my RFL, but in the back of my mind im considering another brand.

My RFL is a straight up piston releasing the air. So you hear a PSSHHHH!!!

Other BOVs sound like a release vavle with a whistle (kind of like metal on metal). This is the kind im thinking about getting, but I'm definately content with the one I have.

Later down the road, I may have a sound clip of my RFL. But for right now a google search may be best.

T7 cars can't use a BOV, only a bypass because of the T7 and air mass meter.

the forge is a good unit...but i just am not fond of the sound...im more fond of the cough like sound of the rfl...so if anyone wants my forge valve to help me get an rfl you can have my forge one for the right price lol

I'm really impressed by the sound of my Hyperboost (BPV).
It's not particularly harsh, but it's loud enough to hear.
Again this is a BPV not a BOV though.

i have the forge bpv and it sounds pretty good. I have an open filter so u can hear it pretty well even though it recirculates. I actually raced this maxima and he pulls up at the next light and asked if i sprayed cause he heard my bpv and thought it was n2o. Im not really sure if u can hear nitrous or if its just a hollywood thing in movies and video games?
