Quick Question

Hi all

Has anyone considered using the 294"??? Brembo system from a 04-05 Nissan Sentra?

On our cars

I know our front rotors on our 9-3 SE, Viggen and 9-5's are 308+... just pondering the possibilities

Why? Can you get those brembos cheap?

If you are fabing up brake brackets I'm just wondering why you would go with a smaller rotor? My friend makes professional brake brackets for dodge Dakota brembo upgrades. He says by far the most costly pieces are the calipers, and even he has looked at oem dual piston calipers that are still just about as expensive as brembos.

They are fairly cheap and may sometimes show up in the parts yards... same with s60 Volvo... just considering the possibilities though I personally will probably fork out the cash for a proper set up... they may work on a c900 with 16" wheels...

Are they on every 04-05 Sentra? I'm googling now.
I guess you could use the Sentra caliper with the Saab rotor still, it just wouldn't reach it all.

I may be wrong but the SE versions I believe had them and the V spec... thought it may be worth considering. I am going to check the pull yards this weekend for a few cars I have in mind for possible upgrade swaps for the front calipers. I upgraded the rears on my Viggen over the weekend with 9-5 Aero's and Goodrich Lines. Significant braking power... I didn't order the GS kit but rather sourced the parts from the pull yard. Front end collision 2004 9-5 Aero Vented Rotors (New) 2004 9-5 Aero Calipers (Functional). My Viggen Caliper Pistons some how seized open allowing the pads to clank and chatter... figured it would be more cost efficient to upgrade. $40 both calipers $16 Both Rotors $70 brakelines Good Greef I Need Konis
